Is your marketing email getting opened, read, and resulting in conversions? If it’s built for desktop or laptop computer viewing, you could be missing a huge slice of your audience. More than two-thirds of all email now gets opened on smartphones and tablets, according to a recent U.S. Consumer Device Preference Report.
Specifically, 16.9% of email opens happen on tablets and 50.1% on mobile phones. Internet services and retail businesses, especially apparel, skewed the highest for mobile opens.
